Ragnarok è un pacchetto d'espansione DLC a pagamento per ARK: Survival Evolved. Ragnarok è stato rilasciato il 12 Giugno, 2017 per PC, Mac, Xbox One e PS4.[1] La metà della mappa era terminata alla data di rilascio del PC e il 75% all'uscita della console. La mappa è stata dichiarata completata al 99% per PC a Dicembre 2017 e alle console a Gennaio 2018.

I giocatori in modalità singleplayer sulle console devono completare l'Ascensione al livello Beta per poter accedere alla mappa Ragnarok. Per accedere alla mappa in singleplayer senza Ascensione, usa cheat playercommand Ascend2 mentre fai il salvataggio del singleplayer su Island.
Panoramica[ | ]
Ragnarok aggiunge diverse nuove creature, come la 
Ice Wyvern, il 
Polar Bear, e il 
Griffin, così come 2 nuovi boss dei dungeon: il Ice Worm e il Lava Golem. È una mappa completamente nuova ed ampia che vanta 144 mq. Ambiente chilometrico, un vulcano attivo, animali dal DLC Scorched Earth, e superiori ai tassi di spawn medi di 
Megalania e del 
Ovis (creature che sono più difficili da trovare nelle altre mappe). La mappa è completa al 99%. Le parti mancanti della mappa verranno rilasciati in modo incrementale nelle patch successive. Su Ragnarok ci sono 
Beaver Dams unici; sono più grandi e somigliano più alle dighe di castori nella vita reale. Anche i castori possono vivere nelle dighe.
Le creature addomesticate e gli oggetti trovati sui server ufficiali Ragnarok possono essere portati nella mappa di vanilla The Island[2], eccetto l'Orso Polare.
Dimensione[ | ]
Ragnarok ha una dimensione di circa 2,5 volte di The Island, in termini di massa del terreno e circa 4 volte in termini di dimensioni totali. Questi calcoli non tengono conto delle reti di grotte significative e di ampia portata e dei dungeon di considerevoli dimensioni.
